How to Curl Crochet Doll's Hair

 I was asked to make an angel with curly hair. I tried to look up tutorials on how to curl crochet doll's hair but couldn't find anything that I liked or anything that didn't take too long. So, I came up with my own way. I love it!

Below is the tutorial. This angel is 2 inches long and for her hair I used cotton perle tatting thread. If you are trying this with yarn, please let me know how if it works. I haven't tried it with yarn yet.

You may also spray the hair with fabric stiffener a little bit.
