This pattern isn't mine. My friend Katie made it. She's also the person who inspired me to crochet so I really wanted to include one of her patterns on my blog. She's pretty amazing and this headband is SO easy and quick. You'll only need a few minutes to make it.
Headband Pattern:

4. Scissors

sl st - slip stitch

Flower (in color 2 and hook H):
ch 15

row 2: 2 sc in each (28 stitches)
row 3: in color 1 sl st in each
Fasten off. Leave a long tail for sewing.
Curl up into a swirly flower and sew in place so it stays where you want it.
Finishing Touches (Katie's suggestions):
Sew a button on the end of band. Crochet is nice and hole-y so you don't need to worry about button holes. This makes the band nice and adjustable, which is great for babies.
Sew the flower on to desired position on band and voila! You're done!!! I added some fabric glue to the flower to help along my debatable sewing skills.
Happy Crocheting!!!
